May 14, 1980
The second half of the two-game series went much better for the Phils as Steve Carlton's strong start continued, and the bats came through for their ace once more. Lefty came out after the sixth with a big lead, allowing Kevin Saucier and Tug McGraw to mop up the laugher. For the Phils it was a team effort, with every starter but Greg Luzinski having at least one hit, and either scoring or knocking in a run.
