May 3, 1980
The Phils' offensive surge continued against the Dodgers. The oft-ailing Larry Christenson was the beneficiary of a 7-0 early Phils lead. Christenson, battling a groin injury, would make it into the seventh inning before giving way to Lerrin LaGrow. In beating Los Angeles, the Phils once more reached the .500 mark.
