May 24, 1980
The Phils went with Dan Larson, a young journeyman who pitched parts of four seasons with the Phillies, but was never able to stick in the majors permanently. Larson did his job, keeping the Phils in the game and giving them a chance to win - which they did when Larry Bowa and Manny Trillo singled in runs in the sixth inning.
