May 6, 1980
The Phils' offensive onslaught continued against Doyle Alexander and the Atlanta Braves. The Phils' defense was charitable, spotting the Braves four unearned runs in the first inning. Then the Phils' offense took over, chasing Alexander in the third inning and battering Braves reliever Al Hrabosky for four additional runs in the eighth to win comfortably.
