Larry Christenson lasted only 5 innings, giving up four runs as the Expos took an early lead. The Phillies showed their Comeback Kids tendencies in this game, scoring three in the 9th to tie the game, but Lerrin LaGrow gave up a 10th inning homer to Ellis Valentine to hand the game back to the Expos. Both George Vukovich and Scott Munninghoff made their major leauge debuts for the Phillies today. Vukovich would be on the postseason roster, but Munninghoff would not.
