April 25, 1980

The sputtering Phils' offense let down the pitching staff once more.  This time, it was the Cardinals and Pete Vukovich that stymied the Phils' lethargic bats.  Randy Lerch pitched well, completed the game but suffered his second loss of the season.  Unfortunately, there would be more for Lerch... lots more.
