June 10, 1980 - Phillies 4, San Francisco 3
Phils rookie Bob Walk was hit hard in the first inning, giving up three runs to the Giants. Walk settled down, pitching four more innings without giving up any more runs. The Phils were able to claw their way back into the game, largely thanks to Greg Luzinski and Garry Maddox. Luzinski hit a home run (his 13th) in the second to get the Phillies on the board, and Maddox hit his fourth in the sixth to put the Phils up 4-3, which would be the final score. Ron Reed pitched the final three innings to earn his third save of the season.
