June 18, 1980
Another game, another win for the Phillies and ace Steve Carlton. Lefty, who pitched his usual 8 strong innings, was the beneficiary of late inning heroics from the Phils' offense, who broke open a 1-1 game in the top of the ninth with a four-run onslaught, led by rookie Keith Moreland. Tug McGraw came out of finish for Lefty, who won his 12th game of the season.
