June 19, 1980
All good things much come to an end, and the Phils' modest winning streak (6 games) did on this day versus the San Diego Padres. Bob Walk was yanked in the third inning after giving up three runs. The Phils managed to tie the score at three each in the sixth inning, but the Padres would salt the game away by scoring off of Phils reliever Kevin Saucier. Bake McBride hit his fourth home run - a game-tying three run blast - in a losing effort.
