Dick Ruthven struggled in his start, but fought through eight hits, three walks and four runs to earn his tenth victory of the season, joining Steve Carlton in double digits.  The Phils' offense remained hot, scoring six off of hall of famer Nolan Ryan  to give Ruthven the wiggling room he needed this day.  Ruthven helped his own effort with a double and a run scored, and Keith Moreland had a big day (1 for 3, 1 run, 2 RBI).
