Dan Larson - #48 - RHP
Born – Los Angeles, Calif., 7/4/1954
B-R, T-R… 6-0, 180
A former first round pick of St. Louis, Dan Larson first came up with the Houston Astros, seeing extensive time in the big leagues in 1976 and 1977, but was inconsistent. In 1980, Larson was up and down with the Phillies throughout the 1980 season, being a primary fill-in from Oklahoma City. In all, Larson appeared in 12 games, starting 7, but pitched in some hard luck. Even though his ERA was good, Larson failed to win a single game.
