April 11, 1980 - Phillies 6, Montreal 3

In the opening game of the 1980 season, Steve Carlton went the distance in earning the victory for the Phillies.  It was a low-strikeout game for him (only six), and the Expos managed to get eight hits, but Carlton walked only one in taking the season opener. The game was nearly over in the first inning when Greg Luzinski hit a three-run home run. Steve Rogers took the loss for the Expos.  Six different Phillies scored one run each.
