August 11, 1980
Technically, this game was not decided in this day. The Phils and Cubs battled to a 5-5 tie after thirteen innings, when darkness descended upon Chicago's Wrigley Field. Since the park did not yet have lights, the game was suspended, to be completed before Aug. 12's regularly scheduled game. Bake McBride and Mike Schmidt knocked in the winning and insurance runs respectively to clinch the game for the Phils, making Warren Brusstar a winner for the first time in 1980.
