September 26, 1980 - Phillies 2, Montreal
The Phils' offense could get nothing more than a Garry Maddox solo home run in the second inning off Montreal hurler David Palmer. The game went into the bottom of the ninth, when Bake McBride hit a game-winning home run off of Palmer, who pitched a complete game, giving up two runs on five hits in the game. The home run made a winner out of Tug McGraw, which evened his record for the season with his fourth win. The win over Montreal put the Phils a full 1½ games ahead of the Expos.
